Wellington Free Ambulance is planning an event to co-design new partnerships and opportunities with our healthcare partners. Recognising the changing needs of our patients, whānau and Wairarapa communities, today and into the future.
We are hosting a half day workshop on Tuesday 1 October, with key health care providers and community and social agencies to help plan a Wairarapa Healthcare Pop-Up which will be held in central Masterton at the end of October for a month.
With three weeks of highly facilitated engagement, involving staff and stakeholders, the pop-up will look at the current pre-hospital system and what it could look like in the future through an ambulance service lens. We want to push, challenge and grow what has been before and what we have now.
The half day workshop will bring together organisational strategies focusing on short to medium term visions, identifying challenges and barriers and allowing space to have open and honest conversations. This will inform the planning and structure of the Wairarapa pre-hospital pop-up.
The pop-up will provide a unique opportunity for healthcare providers to work cohesively to provide the best possible patient care, together.
