Registration is now open for the 2020 Rotary District 9940 Conference, and we are hoping to see you there. The website has all the details and the online registration is now live https://rotary9940.org/page/conference2020
Registration is through the website and needs to be paid for using a credit or debit card. The early bird registration of $295 closes on 31 March and as more incentive, there is a prize draw for a bottle of *champagne* for those who register before 20 March.
You remember last year's conference at Whanganui? We have tal<en on board the feedback and are planning to repeat the best parts and to improve on those things last year's attendees suggested needed work. The overall effect is a conference you will not want to miss -
- A mihi whal<atau / welcome on Friday night which includes supper, entertainment and the traditional flag ceremony
- Speakers such as Meng Foon, the Race Relations Commissioner, Stephanie Woollard, founder of the Seven Women charity and an 'international panel' with Peter Kyle (a New Zealander living in the US, now in the top circles of Rotary International), Kamal Sanghvi (Rotary International President Representative from India) and Eva Hartshorn-Sanders (Wellington consultant supported by Rotary to study in Paris).
- And of course a highlight will be the Saturday night dinner-dance with the RNZAF Jazz Band.
We have kept the cost as low as possible and are offering a home hosting option for those people who either want the Rotarian connection or need an affordable accommodation option - just tick the box on the registration. The food will be excellent, the networking exceptional especially with you there, and the venue is top class. We are aiming to provide you with everything you want out of a District
Conference.
Please take this as your personal invitation, and we look forward to receiving your registration soon.
Ngä mihi from the Conference Committee
